Dip in Addiction Counselling, Dip in Mental Health, Dip in Life Coaching, Dip in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cert Supervision, Brainspotting Phase 1 & 2. Full registration DAPAANZ, accredited supervisor / ACC Supervisor.
With over 20 years of dedicated experience in social services, I specialise in a somatic approach to healing that integrates mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. I’m passionate about helping people navigate complex challenges in mental health, addictions, and high-risk family harm through a holistic lens.
My expertise lies in creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. I incorporate mindfulness practices into my sessions, allowing individuals to connect deeply with their bodies and minds. As an artist, I also offer art therapy, using creative expression as a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery.
I’m trained in hypnotherapy and brainspotting, techniques that facilitate profound emotional release and insight. I pride myself on my ability to engage easily with people, fostering a down-to-earth atmosphere that encourages open communication — and a good sense of humour helps create a relaxed environment, while my focus stays on supporting you on your journey toward wellness.
As a full registered member of DAPAANZ and an accredited supervisor, I adhere to the highest ethical standards in my practice, ensuring my clients receive compassionate and effective care tailored to their unique needs.
A Creative Life
There’s more to who I am than the therapist you meet in session. I’m also a musician — I write and perform original music — and a visual artist, working across painting and tattoo design. Creativity has been part of my own life long before it became part of my practice, and it still shapes how I think about growth, expression, and healing.
I’m a genuinely diverse person, and I don’t believe any one part of that needs to sit separately from the rest. Music, art, and creative expression aren’t just personal outlets for me — they’re something I draw on in the therapy room too, as ways to help people access feelings, tell their story, or find a different way through something difficult when words alone aren’t quite enough.
If any of this resonates with you — if you’ve ever felt the pull to pick up an instrument, a paintbrush, or to create in any form — I hope my own journey is a small encouragement. Growth doesn’t only happen one way, and creativity can be as much a part of healing as any conversation.
